Found as Vivian Maier, in a cardboard box, Mrs. M exposes herself, invariably and exclusively, in over 200 photographs. Among the multitude of poses, positions, and images, the only one accompanied by a notation (reproduced in the book as an insert) provides no clarification, but rather adds to the intrigue. With a touch of Blow-Up and detective story atmosphere, “I don’t just like the sea, but also the mountains!” continues the series that focuses on anonymous photography in Romania, which began with Petite Histoire. – Matei Câlția, editor.
